Our Sticky Love (Korean: 이런 엿 같은 사랑) is a 2026 South Korean romantic comedy television series written by Mo Ji-hye and directed by Kim Jang-han. Starring Jung Hae-in and Ha Young, the twelve-episode series follows Go Eun-sae, an anti-corruption prosecutor who loses her memory after an assassination attempt and hides in a rural confectionery village with Jang Tae-ha, a former boxer and gang member who pretends to be her boyfriend to protect her. Synopsis

Main cast

Production

Development and title

The series was created and written by screenwriter Mo Ji-hye and directed by Kim Jang-han.[1][32] This project marked their second creative collaboration, following their work four years earlier on the 2021 Wavve original comedy-drama series You Raise Me Up.[1][32] Kim had previously directed the SBS television series Do You Like Brahms? in 2020 and My Demon between 2023 and 2024.[1][32] The production was developed by Studio S, a subsidiary production company of SBS, which negotiated global streaming rights with over-the-top platforms.[1][32][33] Netflix acquired the project as an original title under the early provisional English title Lovestuck, before officially retitling it Our Sticky Love upon the announcement of its 2026 Korean original programming slate.[1][32][34][35] In French-speaking Canada, the series was distributed under the localized title Un amour tout sucré.[36]

Casting

In February 2025, South Korean entertainment news outlet OSEN reported that Jung Hae-in and Ha Young were positively reviewing offers to star in the lead roles.[32][33][41] Their respective talent agencies confirmed receipt of the scripts and affirmed that negotiations were underway, leading both actors to formally accept their castings.[32][33][34][41][42][43] The project marked Ha Young's first leading role in a romantic comedy.[44]

On May 14, 2025, Netflix formally verified the production alongside its director, writer, and primary cast members.[1][34] On May 22, 2025, SPOTV News reported that Heo Sung-tae had been cast as the primary antagonist Baek Sang-gil, portraying the leader of the criminal syndicate who serves as the main source of external conflict.[4][30][44] Heo later commented during the press presentation that the character represented the most merciless and cruel antagonist he had portrayed to date.[44][45] The report also confirmed that actor Lee Jun-young would make a special appearance in the narrative.[29][30] In May 2026, Newsen reported that Lee Jae-won was cast as the neuropsychiatrist Ahn Ki-joon.[22]

Filming and locations

Principal photography commenced on April 10, 2025, and concluded on November 18, 2025.[46][47] The cinematography was handled by directors of photography Kang Yoon-soon and Hyun Seung-hoon. Filming took place at several prominent cultural and natural landmarks in the city of Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province.[46][47] Specific shooting locations in Dangjin included the historic Myeoncheon Goljeongji Pond, the Sunseong Cherry Blossom Trail, and the Ami Art Museum.[46][47] In addition, several outdoor sequences were filmed in Yeongdeok County, North Gyeongsang Province.[48]

The rural community depicted as the fictional Gujin County Taffy Village was filmed in Geumdangsil Village, situated in Sanggeumgok-ri, Yongmun-myeon, Yecheon County, North Gyeongsang Province. Historically, Geumdangsil Village is recognized as one of the ten shipseungji, regions described in traditional Joseon geomantic texts as ideal refuges from hardship. The Hong Boxing Gym seen in the series was filmed at the Catholic Diocese of Andong Yongmun Mission Station, located within the same village.

Music and soundtrack

The instrumental musical score for the series was composed and directed by music director Noh Young-shim.
